I don’t think that this is AI redefining it to be honest. These are ongoing heuristics in UX and interfaces that were developed way before AI. What would you think that outside those AI is really redefined?
I can imagine that in order to avoid chaos you may need to look for something that will keep things together emotionally or experience wise. Besides chaos you could end up with something that becomes faceless. So define a personality, use a metaphor, a guiding design principle. Even if you want to keep UX ‘invisible’ you’ll need something to keep what the AI produces at bay, or you will end up with the opposite.
The ability for AI to act on behalf of users is critical. Giving the AI an agentic understanding of the functions it can take on your app can make a huge difference.

How would behavioral tokens be like? 🤔

I am in the middle of defining heuristics for agent-driven experiences and this is so resonant and aligned with what our team has found. 🤩
